At WindowCraft, we strive for complete customer satisfaction. This Return and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling orders, returning products, and requesting refunds.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Before Production
Orders can be canceled free of charge before production begins. To cancel your order:
- Contact us within 48 hours of placing your order
- Provide your order number and contact information
- Full refund will be issued within 5-7 business days
2.2 During Production
Once custom fabrication has begun:
- Cancellation is subject to a 50% restocking fee
- This fee covers materials and labor already invested
- Refund of remaining balance within 10 business days
2.3 After Completion
Custom orders completed to your specifications cannot be canceled. However, we will work with you to resolve any issues with the finished products.
3. Return Policy for Custom Products
3.1 Custom-Made Items
Due to their personalized nature, custom curtains, blinds, and shades cannot be returned unless:
- The product is defective or damaged upon delivery
- The product does not match the specifications in your order
- There was an error in our manufacturing process
3.2 Standard/Stock Items
Non-custom products may be returned within 30 days if:
- Items are unused and in original packaging
- You provide proof of purchase
- Return shipping costs are covered by the customer
- A 15% restocking fee applies
4. Defective or Damaged Products
4.1 Reporting Issues
If you receive a defective or damaged product:
- Inspect products immediately upon delivery
- Report issues within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the defect or damage

4.2 Resolution Options
For verified defects or damage, we offer:
- Free repair or replacement of the affected products
- Full refund if replacement is not possible
- Pick-up and return shipping at no cost to you
5. Installation-Related Returns
If installation issues arise due to our error:
- We will return to correct the installation at no charge
- Replacement products provided if needed
- Issues must be reported within 7 days of installation
6. Measurement Errors
6.1 Our Measurements
If WindowCraft took the measurements and products don't fit:
- We will remake products at no additional cost
- New installation scheduled at no charge
6.2 Customer-Provided Measurements
If you provided measurements and products don't fit:
- Remake available at 50% of the original cost
- We recommend our professional measurement service
7. Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed as follows:
- Refunds issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: 5-10 business days after approval
- Credit card refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear
- You will receive email confirmation when refund is processed
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. For alternative products:
- Return the original product following our return policy
- Place a new order for the desired products
- We'll prioritize production of your new order
9. Warranty Coverage
For warranty-related issues, please see our Terms of Service. Our standard warranty covers:
- 5 years for product manufacturing defects
- 2 years for installation workmanship
10. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom products made to your specifications (unless defective)
- Products damaged by customer misuse or improper care
- Products altered or modified after delivery
- Clearance or final sale items (marked as such)
